Philosophy
I understand that you are passionate about both your work and your life, yet finding the time to pursue every ambition can be challenging. As a mentor, I am here to help you navigate the complexities of creating, exploring, and communicating—and to remind you that great things take time.
I have been working as a mentor for many years, offering private sessions through my program, Fortnight. It is designed to guide you through the entire process of portfolio and career development, covering every aspect of your creative journey.
The Process
During our sessions, we will utilize a practical methodology to highlight your personal narrative through photography. Our main goal is to develop an existing body of work or create a completely new one. This could include:
- -Creating a photobook dummy
- -Finding a publisher
- -Refining exhibition and publication layouts
- -Strategizing your career development
We will create, develop, and distribute your work together.
Structure
We will build a personalized schedule based on your needs. The program consists of individual, one-on-one online sessions (60 minutes each). In every meeting, we cover everything that shapes your practice: form of expression, narrative structure, and professional profiling. I share my full knowledge of the field, offering exclusive guidance and network access to help you achieve your goals.
Proposal: An 8-hour agreement, consisting of 8+1 private sessions (60 mins each), with frequency decided together.
What we will explore
- Narrative: Shaping a visual and contextual language that is authentic to your vision.
- Editing & Sequencing: Understanding the essence, origin and foundation of the work and establishing a rhythm within your sequencing.
- Concept Development: Articulating and contextualizing the core elements of your project.
- Book Design and The Photobook structure: Understanding the fundamentals and implementing creative solutions.
- Professional Practice: Preparing your work for publishers, competitions, grants and submissions.
Origini Edizioni and Fortnight Mentoring
